Delaware Readiness Teams is a statewide initiative of volunteer-based teams that strengthens communities at a local level and help children from birth through age eight get ready for school and life. My Child DE is a user-friendly website that brings together resources to help families, providers and other caretakers make informed choices for the children in Delaware.

Get help with essential health and human services, including affordable housing, utility assistance, healthcare, senior services, food, and other vital programs. We know that when people need help and don’t know where to turn, Delaware 211 is the place to start. With a database of over 2500 programs and services and live assistance available at any time of the day or night, help is here.

Delaware Department of Education recognizes that families are children’s first and most important teachers. Early childhood educators work alongside families to support children from birth through age eight. Delaware develops and promotes programs to ensure qualified professionals provide excellent care during this time and as children transition into the K-12 school system.
